ON SUNDAY WE WILL CELEBRATE THE 70TH BIRTHDAY OF SHPC.  Everyone is invited to attend the luncheon in Barron Hall immediately following the single worship service at 11:00. Sunday school meets at 9:30 as normal.

LAURA CUTTER, who will begin full-time as SHPC’s Director of Youth Ministries on Wednesday, July 5, will in worship on Sunday with her husband, Casey, and their sons, Kai (2) and Cohen (2 months).

THE MONDAY MOVIE MATINEE is Monday at 3:00 p.m. in the Media Room.  The May movie is “Lion” starring Dev Patel and Nicole Kidman.  Free refreshments provided.  Bring a friend.

SEQUOYAH SENIORS TRIP ON THURSDAY to U.T. Pendergrass Library to see the 3D printer. The church bus will leave SHPC at 10:30 a.m. with lunch to follow. Call 522-9804 to register.

SUMMER BIBLE STUDY FOR WOMEN:  “Redeemed – Grace to Live Every Day Better Than Before” by Angela Thomas-Pharr meeting weekly June 5 through July 24 from 6:30–8:00 p.m. in Room 322. Call 522-9804 to register. Study guide is $15.

Stewardship & Giving

“Bring the full tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in my house, and thus put me to the test, says the Lord of hosts; see if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you an overflowing blessing” (Malachi 3:10).
