Labyrinth

Labyrinth

What is a labyrinth? It is a sacred place. It is a prayer path. It is a pilgrimage, a journey to become closer to God. It is a tool for people to use for a spiritual experience. The design itself is inherently powerful. The space and experience of walking it are also very sacred and powerful. Each person’s walk is a personal experience. How one walks and what one receives differs with each walk.

Some people use the walk for clearing the mind and centering their thoughts on God.Others enter with a question or concern. The time in the center can be used for receiving, reflection, meditating, or praying. What each person receives can be integrated on thewalk out. The walking can be healing and a very profound experience or it can just be apleasant walk. Each time is different.

The labyrinth is not a maze. A maze has dead ends and trick turns. A labyrinth has onlyone path leading the center and back out again.

The labyrinth is located across from North entrance to the Sanctuary (porte cochere), behind the playground.
