 First Communion Class

SHPC's next First Communion Class will be held in Spring 2012 in the Sanctuary for children 2nd through 5th grades. (date and time of class to be posted by March 2012)  Dr. Siegling will lead the class and reinforce the importance and special meaning of the Lord's Supper.  All past participants are welcome to attend!  (First Communion Class of Fall 2010 pictured above.) 

Rally Day!

A new Sunday school year began on August 21, 2011.  Children moved to their new Sunday school rooms, young fours began Children & Worship during the 11:00 a.m. service, and new leaders joined our Children's Ministry team.  Johnny Appleseed introduced our elementary children to the story of Adam & Eve.  It was a great morning!  Pictured above: gathering time in the Kingdom. 

Summer Pool and Pizza Party

Young families from SHPC gathered on a sunny summer afternoon at the pool and made a big splash!  Pool noodles and floaties were enjoyed as well as time with friends and siblings.  The pizza and "Make Your Own Sundae" bar were a big hit!

PandaMania VBS 2011

Thank you to all of the many wonderful volunteers who contributed time, talents, and happy hearts that made for an AWESOME VBS week!  We had over 150 children participating and 100 enthusiastic volunteers, what a Pandabulous week!
