Janna grew up in Jacksonville, Florida and graduated from the University of Florida and majored in Psychology.  After serving youth in churches and in the school system for several years, Janna began to listen to the call to ministry more intently. She enrolled and graduated from Lexington Theological Seminary in Lexington, KY.  Janna has served in parish ministries and pastoral care roles as Chaplain at UT Medical Center, a full-time Chaplain in a long-term care facility and rehabilitation center, and most recently at UT Medical Center Hospice.  Pastoral care is a great joy for Janna and she loves meeting people at their point of need and hearing people’s stories.  She feels very blessed to have been called to serve as Minister for Congregational Care to this congregation and looks forward to serving. Janna is married to her husband, David, and has two adult daughters and two beautiful grandchildren.
