When Katie accepted the position of Business Administrator at SHPC in June 2018, she brought with her over 25 years’ experience successfully building teams; managing people and human resources; strategic planning; fiscal management; budget management; and managing buildings/grounds. Her career spans such fields as sales management for a global company, real estate, property management, marketing, design, technology, and managing a railroad.
Along with her professional experience, Katie has served on the Vestry, Finance Committee, as usher, Sunday School teacher, Committee Chair and on the meal ministry of her own church. She has devoted time supporting local non-profits including United Way, Habitat, Lisa Ross Birth and Women’s Center (Board Treasurer), Tour de Cure (diabetes), and Boys & Girls Club.
Katie was thrilled to join the staff at SHPC as it was a bit like coming home – growing up in Sequoyah Hills, she counts many SHPC members as classmates or parents of childhood friends.
