After teaching for one year and subbing for two years, Peyton became the SHEEP Assistant in July 2021. Prior to becoming a stay-at-home-mom in 2012, she worked as Assistant Director of Graduate Admissions/Recruitment at the Corcoran in D.C. and Assistant Director of Graduate Administration/Admissions at Columbia College Chicago where she also earned her MA in Management. 

As a member of SHPC since 2011, she has been able to serve as a Deacon and a member of several other committees over the years- Women’s, Nursery, Media, Fellowship, and Church Directory. Outside of SHEEP/SHPC, she enjoys serving on the Board for the Kingston Pike Sequoyah Hills Association, working as an Election Officer on Election Day at Sequoyah Elementary, and most importantly spending time with her husband (Jamie) and children (Quinn, Duncan, and Clara).
