Shannon Catron has been a member of SHPC since 1999. In 2005, she came on staff as a part-time assistant to the Director of Children’s Ministries. Over the years, her position has expanded to include church-wide communications as well as assisting the Associate Pastor for Congregational Care, the Directors of Children’s and Youth Ministries, and the Christian Formation division – all of which bring her great joy.

Having a BFA in Graphic Design and her previous work in publishing and brand identity serve Shannon well in her responsibility to communicate upcoming events, community outreach, ministry, and mission in the life of SHPC through the Tower Newsletter, Apple TV slides, social media, and support materials. She also generously shares her artistic talent by frequently taking pictures at church events.

Before settling back in their hometown, Shannon and her husband Gib enjoyed living in several different cities and restoring old homes in their spare time. They have two adult sons.
